If you’re a writer, an author, or someone who’d like to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard!), these workshops may be for you!
Workshop 2 - Writing for Publication
Are you a writer hoping to be published? Perhaps you have already been published but would like to hone your skills further.
A workshop all about the nitty-gritty of writing: learning the skills that may improve the quality of your work, how to use hooks, devices, points of view, ‘show, don’t tell’, using the parable of the prodigal son.
Leader
These workshops are being led by Sheila Jacobs. Sheila is a writer, CBC award-winning author, editor and retreat leader. Much of her work involves assessing books for publication. She loves to encourage new writers to explore their gift, hone their skills and listen to God.
Each workshop costs £30 and includes lunch (discount of 10% if you book all 3).
Arrival from 9.30am for a 10am start.
