Lenten Liberation

  • The Diocesan House Of Retreat The Street CM3 1HA United Kingdom (map)

An exploration of the season of Lent as time for us to be set free and to reconnect with both faith and vocation.

Led by Ven Chris Burke. Using scripture and other writing we will be exploring the many ways the season of Lent provides an opportunity for us to be refreshed in our sense of vocation and set free from some of the distractions which often get in the way of our life as disciples of Jesus Christ.

Chris Burke is the Archdeacon of Barking, having previously served in parishes in the North East, in the East End of London and in Sheffield Cathedral. He has a longstanding interest in the inter connection between our worship and our activity in mission.

This event is open to everyone. (If you would like to combine this with an overnight stay please contact The Retreat House office direct 01245 237251)
