Friends Weekend Retreat

  • The Diocesan House Of Retreat The Street CM3 1HA United Kingdom (map)

Jesus said; ‘You are my friends if you do what I command you’ and ‘I do not call you servants any longer, but I have called you friends.’

John 15. 14-15

In this Retreat we will explore the nature of friendship and what it truly means to be a friend. Is the nature of friendship a community commitment or a personal choice? Why do some find some friendship hard, while others seem to thrive on it?

What does the Bible have to say about friendship? What are you letting yourself in for by being a Friend of the Retreat House? There will be time to be quiet; time to worship; and time to share.

Come and enjoy this time together as we seek to deepen our relationship with God and each other.

Cost: £180 (ensuite, full board) or £160 (shared bathroom, full board)

This retreat is being led by Canon John Howden who is a retired Anglican priest, former Warden of the Retreat House and currently a prize-winning film maker extraordinaire.
